Slowly, his hand reached up and touched his lip where he had felt the fleeting touch of her, pulling his hand away and looking down towards it. "What just happened?" He murmured, trying to understand what happened. He could hear her rapid heart and her stance, but he couldn't see.

Instead, it was surprise and something else lurking behind his eyes, before it's all hidden under a small scowl as he closed his eyes, hands stuffing into his pockets.
