His eyes flash brightly as he whirls towards her. "You're bugging the shit--" he stops and grows rigid as he hears someone behind him. He twists around and listens over his shoulder, a tan skinned man with dark hair standing behind him, though he held similar lavender eyes at Elias did. Something inside Elias grew taut.
"What the fuck are you doing here," he growled, and the man himself coiled.
However, he didn't address Elias directly. Instead, his eyes flicked towards the girl, and recognizing her as a human, he gave a thin smile to the boy. "Elias, we need talk."
"Last time you said that, you did this." He waved his hand in front of his eyes, still not looking towards him.

Stopping, Evalyn opens her mouth to reply to the half statement before stilling when a man suddenly appears from no where behind him, eyes widen, stumbles back, eyes darting around, trying to decide whether to flee or not. When the two start speaking, she hesitates a moment before stepping a bit closer, face paling at the white haired boys actions
"What the fuck are you doing here,"
"Elias, we need to talk."
"Last time you said that, you did this."
He's... Blind? she thinks to herself before the urge to flee returns, looks towards the shack at the end of the pier behind her, debates, takes off running past them, needing to tell someone what she saw. Or at least, get somewhere safe

Riad flinched. "That wasn't meant to happen. You know that."
Elias snorted. "What do you want."
This time, the man straightened slightly, taking a breath. "The name of who hired you."
A sharp bark of laughter erupted from Elias, and his expression turned dangerous with a smirk. "Why the hell would you care? You didn't care before."
"I did care, and I care now. You've dug yourself a pit-- do you really want to keep falling?"
"Fuck off."
"Elias, please. I need to know."
Recognition crossed Elias's face, and his grin returned. "You want revenge. Who was it? A lover? A girlfriend?"
"A friend's aunt. A protector."
The grin faded. "I had no say in that hit."
"Everyone--"
Elias snapped, his harsh and joking demeanor gone. "No, I had no say."
Riad's gaze gained a look of realization, but then he frowned deeply. "Elias, what's going on."
"You know. I'm sure Dad knows, too." He spat the word like it was poison. "Yeah, I know he showed up. Can't miss that bastard's vibe anywhere."
Silence stretched out when Riad noticed the girl, and his expression turned gentler, tone softer. "Miss, forgive me. I promise nothing will happen to you." Then to Elias, "Talk to me."
"Never," Elias growled, disappearing in a puff of smoke, coaxing a curse from Riad as he stepped forward.

Reaching the base of the pier where it meets the ground, Eva runs, keeping up a sprint as she turns left, heading for some buildings that are under construction. Darting into one past the plastic on the empty doorway, she sinks down against the wall just inside, eyes wide as she pulls her knees up, hiding "Just what was that?..." she whispers to herself

Riad cursed as both disappeared on him, and he looked around, jaw ticking. He needed to understand what exactly was going on before he lashed out, and he couldn't do that without getting his brother to talk. He leaves again, trying to track him, though his senses were thrown off by one of Elias's illusions.

"Someone I need to keep away," he grumbled, sitting against the wall behind a makeshift table. Now, he just looked exhausted and beyond his years, and he struggled to keep his harsh demeanor up as he hid the shaking of his hand with balled fists and the look of uncertainty with anger. Why did he hide here of all places? A place where someone was nearby?
