The girl gives a small shrug, her hand tightening on her arm a little. "I-I don't know. I felt..." She trailed, and for a moment her image rippled again like it had then. "Different."

Auguste stands and steps over to Alyse, holding out a hand. "Alyse, if I may."
Alyse's hazel eyes met his silver gaze, hesitant, then she takes his hand. And Tenses up, her eyes widening. "W-what..."
The man's eyes flash a moment, hand closing around Alyse's and gaze holding hers, his smile gentle. "Relax."

Auguste holds her gaze a moment longer, then his expressions softens. "So I was right." Alyse's gaze turns confused as her image shifts even more, though after a few moments, her knees give. Auguste catches her as her eyes drift close, her image rippling again. Carefully he picks her up and starts towards the bedroom. "Leia, prepare some ginger tea and the scarf. Young Finnik is going to need them when he wakes shortly."

Leia gave a nod in response before she made her way to the kitchen. With careful hands she started to gather everything up for the preparations.
Kasper followed her, leaning on the door frame. "Where's the scarf?"
"Hmm?" Leia turned to look at him baffled that he spoke. "I placed it on the table in the hallway at the moment. Why do you ask?"
He shrugged before walking away. "It's my job to fix things."

As Alyse's black hair faded to blonde and features changed, Auguste laid the girl, no, boy now, on the bed, then releases his hold. He didn't even seem phased afterwards, though his expression is accomplished and understanding as he looks over Finnik. The boy's expression relaxes as the tension ebbs, and he finally relaxes. "Your secret is safe, Finnik."

Upon finding it, Kasper picks it up by an end. Holding it in both hands, its rotated during examination. Shaking his head he made his way to his workshop and sat at his desk. Pulling out the drawer he removed a needle and got to work.

Auguste sighs and steps back out of the room, retrieving his coat again, pausing near the counters where Leia works. "I'll be heading out again," he explains. "There's another Illusionist in the district, Ace to be exact. I must speak with him about the boy, as the boy's memory and illusion was kept up by him. I don't know how Priya's head knight fits on this chess board yet, but I will find out. Will everything be all right here?"

Leia started to pour the tea when he spoke. Despite a noticeable pause, she continued pouring as if nothing happened.
"There's another Illusionist in the district, Ace to be exact. I must speak with him about the boy, as the boy's memory and illusion was kept up by him. I don't know how Priya's head knight fits on this chess board yet, but I will find out. Will everything be all right here?"
"Of course Auguste. Ill continue to keep an eye on things. " replies as she set the pot back on the stove. "I'll have a fresh pot waiting for you upon your return. " Come back safely... These words were never spoken aloud, but silence spoke volumes. Not that she ever needed to remind him, nor he ever know how unstable things were without him around. She turned her head, shooting a fleeting smile in his direction.

At her fleeting smile his face softens. "My deepest apologies for leaving. Although, I will still remain in the district." He turns and walks out, his expression turning serious as his thoughts went to the young knight and how he connects to the young king laying in Auguste's guest bed.

Leia turns to watch him as he leaves. Her eyes followed his back until it disappeared. Head lowered a small sigh escaped her but she smiled- taking hold of the cup with two hands. She had a task that needed to be done, and she would see it through.

Finnik groans quietly from the bed, working his way out of the haze he found himself in. His head pounds and throbs, and his stomach seems to be doing somersaults despite the fact he is laying down. Wait, where was he again? Slowly his eyes opened, though he flinches at the light.
