"There's no need to be wary, Kasper," the man says, having heard the last bit of the conversation. He removes his gloves, which appears to be stained with dirt, smaller patches on his suit. "Alyse is innocent."
"Sir," Alyse murmurs, gaze questioning.

"Except for a rumor that she's connected to the rumored lost king that disappeared when his faction and mine became one a long time ago." Gray eyes move and settle on the girl. "Does the name Finnik sound familiar?"
Alyse's face twists in thought a moment when her hand reaches up to touch the scarf that isn't there. "It's the name on my scarf."

I do know, though, that even after the ransacking of their district, a small hand full of the family escaped. The only ones that have been spotted recently was the young heir and his grandmother."

"But at some point the two were attacked and the boy temporarily lost his memories. He regained some according to a couple of sources and started looking for his family with the idea of uniting everyone again, but then he disappeared again." Auguste studies Alyse. "But, I think I know where he's gone and what's happened."
