He looks at his hands, hesitating. "I don't know. He's been angry at me for as long as I can remember. His mother..." He takes a deep breath. "Like you, his mother fell at Lucifer's hands during one of his cruel games. I don't know what became of her after that-- I could never find her soul, much like how I couldn't seem to have found yours." He looks at her, pale blue eyes bright.

"Let's eat a little something before we go," he replies. "Neither of them are dying, at least not by what I can tell." He pauses a moment, pulling out another smile with a shrug. "I have to figure out how to approach the both of them anyway. Which Riad will be a little more laid back than his brother."
