His movement was slow, but once he started seeing the change hid features shifted a little and he trotted to her side and knelt, studying as he tried to keep his hopes at bay.

He let out a silent laugh and kissed the top of her head, eyes closed. "The weight of the world," he said quietly. "I'm overjoyed yet uneasy, I feel as though things can never be repaired. I feel like in the past day I've gained twenty years."

Dozorce's eyes opened and looked at her, the pale blue vibrant with his thoughts, and his smile was small. "I suppose that's one way of looking at it." He paused. "It's not only you. But I fear for Riad, for Elias. For Zlo. For Shade and for the little girl. There's so many possibilities I've seen, I just don't want anything happening to them. They've seen enough bad in the world." He looked to the sky, gaze slightly distant. "But then again, I don't know if anything good can come to us, as we're all demons and on the wrong side of things."
