Riad's smile turned a little uneasy. "I do, and I did. Though... Things aren't quite simple or easy at the moment..." Remembering something, he looked at Zor, gaze worried. "Something happened in the change."
Dozorce frowned deeply. "What happened?"
"His aunt," he paused, looking at Lorelei, knowing it wasn't the best time, but they were on a short time schedule. "She... Was a hunter. And her soul found him when he changed. She's..." He looked down, leaning back on his heels a moment, a hand running through his hair. "She's threatened to kill him. Unless she talks to Elias."
"Because he was the one."
Riad nodded, leaning forward and laying his head in his hands. "I don't know what to do."

"We'll see if we can't get him to talk before we resort to that," Dozorce suggested.
Riad hesitated. "He and I... We had a disagreement after Dad left." Dozorce flinched a little. "He wanted to make a deal with Lucifer to make things right for us again, for us all to be family, everything be how it was. I said no, I wasn't going to do it, nor did I want him to." He rubbed the back of his neck. "It grew heated, and we fought...and in the end, he lost his sight because of me."
