Kale raised his gaze to her, a hand wrapping around her left one. "I know but I... " lost control. Could've burned you. Hanging his head he sighed. "You came to me even though it wasn't safe. " he raised his other hand. The lingering flame on his finger went out at his command.

She wrapped her arms around his neck in another hug, failing to admit how worried she was, how she didn't want to be alone, how she worried about him. "I'm just glad I found you," she murmured.

Rune pursed her lips a little, hand reaching and grasping his, giving it a comforting squeeze. She knew I'm sorry wouldn't help, but she also that even a little gesture showing she understood would help. And she really did understand.

Kale looked at her before at his knees. Slowly he made a fist and held it to his chest. Inwardly agreeing with her words he smiled lightly, remembering something. Raising his hand he exhaled before creating little specks or balls from his fingers. But instead of being red and orange flames, they we're a very light orange, almost yellow.
