Arriving in the next town over, Shade parks at a local fair and buys a ticket before walking in to find her prey. Spotting a blonde man off to the side, she slowly walks over to him, smirking as she strikes up a conversation. Able to lure him away within moments, she sucks his soul dry, green eyes flashing as his body disintegrates to ash. Sighing softly, she wipes her hands then leaves the way she came in, on her bike.
Reaching the apartment in record time, she gets off and makes her way inside, eyes sharp as she passes through the door, looking for him "Zlo. Where are you?"

Zlo laid on the couch near the windows, a hand over his eyes and still in his towel. The orange juice that spilt earlier remained on the floor as a cold sweat had built up on his brow. Why was it all surfacing now? What was changing? A low growl escaped him as he heard the door open, but outside of that, he didn't breath another word.

Making it inside, she starts to slam the door to lock it before stiffening when he places his hand against it, green eyes wide as she looks up at him "What are you saying?
