Riad shrugged, looking at his hands. "Tail, heightened senses, uhm." He laughed lightly. "Teleporting in a puff of smoke. Some of us gain gifts, too. Mine is fire and lightning. Elias's is illusion, Dad's is time manipulation, Zlo has an array of things."

Smiling at Riad's laugh, he leans in and kisses his cheek gently, soft sigh "I wonder if I'll get a gift too." he murmurs, shrugging "Not that it matters."

His mouth worked a moment, eyes disbelieving a moment. "Test my loyalties? I never held any loyalty towards you." He spat on the ground by Lucifer's feet. "No, the only one here that I would rather rip to shreds is you." He reached behind him and manifested his gun as though he had it tucked within the waist of his jeans, aimed a the devil, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

"No, the only one here that I would rather rip to shreds is you."
Feet trying to find purchase, Shade gasps when Lucifer suddenly moves her in front of him, jerks, eyes slowly roll down, shirt starting to spot with blood near heart, face pales, crumples when Lucifer drops her abruptly
Grunting, he drops the succubus, teeth gritting, eyes slits as he looks over at him, light seeming to get sucked out of the room "You're making a big mistake."

Zlo's expression or gun didn't waver. "No. I'm doing what I should have done years ago." Hearing Riad, Zlo didn't look his way as he turned toward him, gaze and gun trained on Lucifer. "Rain."
Riad followed Carter out and seeing Zlo, then hearing him say rain, his gaze wavered. He looked at Shade, then at Zlo again, understanding. He looked at Carter. "Run." In a blur, he moved and grabbed the little girl, then Shade, disappearing in a puff of smoke as Zlo shot again at Lucifer.

Hitting the ground face first, Shade gasps weakly, blood pooling out on to the floor beneath her, face paling, losing consciousness quickly
"No. I'm doing what I should have done years ago. Rain."
"Oh? And what is that?" Lucifer murmurs, eyes narrowed "Kill me?" his face twists into a dark smile "Go ahead, try. If you succeed, you'll wind up-" he starts, dodging to the side when shots go off "You'll end up killing Belladonna as well."Freezing at the scene, Carter's eyes widen at the sight of Shade lying on the ground, snaps back to reality at the sound of Riad's voice
"Run."

Riad took Angel and Shade outside to the very edge of the cemetery, trying to put pressure on her wound as Dozorce appeared by his side. "This deal that went down, it's going to kill her, isn't it? Doesn't Zlo know that?" His voice wavered as he looked around for Carter, forgetting to grab him.
"He knows," Dozorce murmured, looking at Shade. "He knows what he's doing."

Eyes widening, Carter nods slowly, disappearing
Growling in anger, Lucifer's eyes flick to Zlo's, charges at him, wings unfurling, jerking when one bullet catches him across the ribs in a graze

"There is a way," he sat by Shade's head, sitting like someone who meditated would, watching her closely. "Zlo just needs to hurry up."

Carter watches as Riad and his father watch over the woman, eyes wavering as he watches her bleed out
"She's not going to make it through this, Dad. There's no way."
"There is a way. Zlo just needs to hurry up."
"Do... Don't" Shade grits out, mouth filling with blood as she starts to choke on it, jerking every few seconds as Zlo lands a blow on Lucifer. Face deathly pale, she turns onto her side, trying to clear her mouth, heart starting to fail her. Back facing Riad, her teeth gnash together, right wing unfurling to flap slowly, tip sharpening, flung forward and curls, embedding itself into her heart, trying to get Zlo an opening

Growling when a fist slams into his face, Lucifer fights with Zlo, grunting each time he gets shot or grazed. Eyes flashing, he starts towards him again before falling to a knee when his chest starts bleeding heavily where Shade stabbed her own heart, groans, wide open
