Elias stepped over, stopping just by her and kneeling down, facing the water. His look changed to something unreadable, and as he sensed her pain, her reached over and touched her shoulder, chasing away the pain with an illusion of relief. "Tell me what you've seen."

Gasping when the pain fades, she trembles then falls back, gaze wide, pupils dilated as she stares at the sky, chest heaving "I've only seen glimpses of your face, here and there, when the pain gets unbearable, or if I pass out-too many images flooding my head at once." she whispers, eyes closing "I just want answers... Who am I... Where did I come from, why am I trapped here?" voice coming out strangled, she inhales "When I learned you were real, I hoped you'd know something. But I guess I was misguided.."

Elias reached out and caught her quickly.
"I've only seen glimpses of your face, here and there, when the pain gets unbearable, or if I pass out-too many images flooding my head at once. I just want answers... Who am I... Where did I come from, why am I trapped here? When I learned you were real, I hoped you'd know something. But I guess I was misguided.."
He remained silent a long while, without a snarky comeback or remark. "You're sparrow, that's who you are," he murmured, gaze towards the ground. "The past... The past becomes a weapon when one has it. Sometimes something else. My past, the fears in it, are part of my survival, but it could become a knife that slices someone else to the heart, becoming their demise."
Elias paused, gaze flicking towards the water. "I don't know anything right now, but that doesn't mean you're misguided, sparrow." He pursed his lips, wondering why he was being the way he was. Was it because he had been in her shoes at some point?
