Elias grunted, swallowing water as they were thrown out, and hitting the pier, another grunt escaped as he rolled, rolling onto his side and coughing roughly, gasping for air. His forehead pressed against the wood, fists clenched as he struggled for air, shivering. Once he caught his breath, he croaked, "Sparrow?"

At the voice, and recognizing it as foreign, Elias darted up and twisted around with a hand propping him up as his head turned towards her, hair sticking to his forehead and eyes distant as they flicked around trying to pinpoint the source. "Who's there?" he growled, tensed and ready to spring.

Pausing a moment, she falls silent before she slowly shakes her head "No one." she murmurs, voice soft as she moves over to him, eyes pulsing faintly as she looks over Evalyn, drops of water falling from her onto the pier, somewhat solid "You have to wake her."

"You're someone one, because you have a voice," he pushed, though as he continued a moment later, his voice wavered. "Unless you're just in my head." At her last comment, his brows furrowed and eyes narrowed in concentration as his head twitched a little, slowly sitting up fully. His jaw worked a moment and he knocked on the pier, listening, then started moving slowly towards Evalyn. "Wake her up?"

Finding Eva's hand, he grasped it and pulled himself to her, keeling by her as he lifted her off of the pier, tensing and heading turning towards her as she said demon. "You know what I am. How."
"Yes. It's dangerous for her here, it's not safe. If you leave her to wander, she may never return."
His gaze flicked towards where Eva as laid in his lap, his hand moving to find her cheek, lightly tapping it. "Sparrow? Sparrow, wake up." His fingers found her hair, running through it a little as his head tilting, taking in the texture, though a moment later froze and listened to her breathing and heartbeat.

She murmurs, looking over him, stilling when she sees a aura outshadowed by black ink around his skin, light purple coming through in patches, watches as a spot of black turns to the violet "She's your stone." she whispers to herself, frowning "Maybe."
"Sparrow? Sparrow, wake up."
Pulled out of her thoughts by his voice, she shakes her head, watching as Eva doesn't move, heart and breaths moving between fast and slow. Raking her gaze over the girl, her gaze widens slightly when she sees her aura, pulsing between a multitude of colors quickly "You need to wake her now. Immediately. They've found her. She's trapped in her mind."

Elias made a face at her. "You're making absolutely no sense," he murmured, though tensed as he heard the last part, then the panic rose in his chest, the panic he doesn't understand why he has. He turned his attention back to her, gently shaking her. "Sparrow, come on, wake up." When no response came he took a breath, hesitating before touching her arm, sending the illusion of a small shock through her in an attempt to wake her. "Eva, wake up."

Gasping for air when her throat is clear, Eva inhales sharply, eyes wide as she looks over at him, hasn't noticed the woman yet. Gaze wavering, she pauses before she smacks his chest, tears pricking "You idiot! Why didn't you let go? You could have died!"
"Sparrow? Are you okay?"
"She's fine. For the moment." she murmurs, looking around, frowning lightly when the sky starts to turn dark within the barrier around the shack "I have to go. And so should you."
