He looks away at the scolding, remaining silent a moment. "I'm to go after her, insure she's safe," he murmurs quietly, "and in turn I will turn down the offer for my own act. I've no need for publicity."

"I'm a man of my word," he states rather dully, face turning expressionless as the word disappointment. He has no need for praise, anyhow. "I promised I'd keep her from harm, and if her leaving is to bring her harm, then I will stop her."

Slowly he turns and looks at her, studying. "I've some money already saved in my wallet," he answers. "I can pick up anything I may need." He pauses and takes a breath. "Though I'll take a horse. She took her stallion with her, and if I'm to catch up I've got to ride."

At the gesture he stares at her a moment, though he dips his head in a bow, almost like one you could picture an eastern dragon giving, regal and proper before he turns away on his heel, starting out of the tent and to the stalls.
