"Yo." he waved sarcastically. "An assistant? I wont do any errands or sit at a desk." he shrugged at Augusts statement. "Work is work." replies contradicting his other statement.
Leia looked at him, nose twitching at the greeting. But she remained silent, she didn't really care how she was answered. "Oh no no. Nothing like that. Your job will be more to be my company. If you so choose to do other things along the way, well I won't disagree. Before you decide. Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Leia del Vogel and I overlook Diamonds Square."

"Vogel? As in the leader of the Diamonds? Why do you want me? Surely you have dogs in your gang you can manipulate, your royal bigness." Hisses.
"There wouldn't be any desk work available."
"No there would be much worse. I had no idea that you of all people were friends with someone like her?!" Most of his ststements came out harsh because he didnt trust the gangs . Heck he didnt even trust Auguste as far as he could see him.
Leia exhaled before speaking. "I understand your concerns, truly. But my sole reason was to find someone to talk to mainly. Yes i have followers but an empty house will make anyone lonesome."

Auguste didn't bat an eye, though the corners of his smile faltered just a little. "There are differences between the gangs, dear boy. Hearts is one of the most vile, Spades contending with her. Not a peep comes from Clubs and you hear nothing of their name unless it's about them defending themselves." He paused, gesturing to Leia. "She is the one that I trust, as she feels the same as myself on the matters of these...turfs wars, if you will."
His arm lowered. "You know I don't blindly trust others, Kasper. But the carnival and Diamonds have been working together for a long time in an attempt to end this violence so the city can return to how it once was. My job here is to keep the peace, act as the middle grounds and to protect those that need an escape. Leia works to secure borders and prevent the others from swooping in here and taking all that we've worked for." A pause, letting it sink in. "If you wish to stay, you may. You have control over your choices."

Kaspar snorted. He highly doubted that. Regarless he listened to Auguste when he talked.

The man grew silent as he listened to the words being spoken to him. Although that meant little since he was hardly paying attention. If she was doing what he said, then he may reconsider. "I want to think it over tonight." he glanced at Leia with distasteful eyes.
"I think that's a wonderful idea, dont you Auguste?" she gave a small smile. "You may take all the time that you need mister Kasper. "

Kasper nodded slowly. "Right. Well if that was all, I will be in my room. " he started walking back down to where he appeared from. Once inside he looked around exhaling harshly. Just what was that? He still couldn't picture the great leader of the Diamonds to be such a small woman. The only thing that he believed in that entire conversation was that she was lonely. He would spot it in her eyes.
Leia watched him as he went. "Good night Kasper." calls quietly. Once the boy was in his room her demeanor immediately changed from composed to worried. Unease flooded over her features as she sat back down in her chair. "Well that went well all things considered. " Even though that is what she spoke, she didn't feel as if he would come with her. She had hoped that no one would no longer only view her as a gang leader, but as a person.

Auguste took a deep breath, settling back in his seat as he leaned back a bit. "Considering that he is highly skeptical, he reacted a lot better than I expected." He met her gaze, smile turning reassuring. "Don't fret over it too much. It'll work out."

Leia took a drink of her tea to help calm herself before her eyes drifted up to his. Exhaling she closed her eyes before putting a hand on her face. "You're right-as always. " a small smile. "You always know more about my feelings then I do."
Kasper stared at the wall before he went to the small fold out bed that he called home. It wasn't much, since that was literally all he had in the room, but it was still something.
