Kasper took a bite before he froze a moment. He couldn't tell you what he thought about the meal-for he wasn't sure himself. Shaking it off he took another bite, no hint of emotion on his face.
"How is it?" Leia asked him quietly looking at him expectantly. She didn't cook often and truth be told it was the first time she had actually made the particular dish. Her lips twitched at Daniel's comment, but she wanted to know what he thought.
"Its alright." Replies with a dismissive tone. He took another bite in silence.

Alyse noticed his expression, but she didn't say anything as she started eating herself, a small look of delight crossing her face.
John was left smiling. "It reminds me of a good family meal. I have to say, for you two young ladies to have woven that taste and feeling, you did mighty well."
Blinking, she blushed a little and looked down with a small smile. Why did she feel uncomfortable with the term lady?

Leia took a bite, holding a napkin to her mouth in response to the statement. Once she was finished chewing she smiled at him. A few seconds of bubbly laughter left her. "Young? Oh John you're sweet. But I'm older than I look. "

Leia laughed listening to them but it lightened abruptly. Her gaze traveled to the wall-it just wasn't the same without everyone here.

Alyse listened as the two bickered quietly a moment before they both laughed and returned to eating. Her eyes studied everyone carefully, almost in the manner a ruler would seem to, though it wasn't without respect or disregard. If anything, her gaze held a genuine curiosity before it flickered into something familiar for a brief moment in time, her gaze slightly distant as she looked down, her image seeming to ripple almost indistinctly. Her mouth tilted into a slight frown as she focused again, the memory and sensation fleeting.

Kasper caught something similar to a shimmer out of his peripheral and his head turned. Watching Alyse he stilled. "What was that? "
"What was what?" Leia glanced at him.
Kasper's gaze traveled to the girl, brow drawn.

Daniel, who had been watching, had he fork hovering a little above his plate as he eyed Alyse, frowning. "I wasn't the only one," he murmured quietly, and John had taken to studying Alyse.
Alyse snapped out of her daze, blinking away the confusion as her hazel eyes rose and looked at everyone, lowering her fork as she looked down at her plate. Her hand came up towards her collar bone, looking for the scarf again, only to remember she wasn't wearing it and her hand lowered again. "I-I'm not feeling well," she murmured and stood. "Excuse me." She carried her half empty plate to the kitchen and sat it on the counter before disappearing into the bedroom.

Kasper glanced around at everyone with a hard gaze before he walked out of the room. "Have it your way."
Leia turned her head as he left before she stood. "I'm sorry you had to see that. If you excuse me-" she made her way to the room quietly. How was she supposed to take care of everything here if everyone continued to leave. Gently she knocked on the door. "May I come in?"
