At the laugh and her words, Elias clammed up, jaw working, though after a while his breathing slowed once he drifted off, hand that held the water relaxing and slowly moving to the side due to the bottle's weight. He had meant to get a drink, but he was too exhausted to care.

Looking away when he falls silent, she waits a few minutes for him to fall asleep, reaches over and grabs the bottle before it can fall. Sitting it aside, her gaze wavers as she slowly stands, biting her lip as she glances towards the door

Hearing his name he turned his head towards the sound, eyes closed as he stood in the fog, and as he heard footsteps, he slowly opened his eyes, eyebrows drawn together as he looked around. "Where..." Elias turned around himself, but he wasn't able to see anything through the fog, though a heartbeat later he saw someone running towards him.

He watched her, gaze flickering with recognition, but he doesn't bring himself to move. However, he did take a deep breath, letting it out and rubbing his eyes again. Even in the dream, he could feel the oddness of being able to see.

Elias opened his eyes, lavender gaze training itself on hers, emotions flickering across his gaze as he stepped over and hugged her, loosely at first, but soon his grip tightened a little, having to stoop because of his height. His jaw worked quietly a moment. "I've missed you."
