Zlo stumbled just outside of the park, turning around himself to try to catch Shade as she passed. He pulled on his leather jacket. "Shade."

Reaching the lake, she pulls her bike to a somewhat stop and stumbles off of it around the corner from where he is, not even caring when it hits the water, staggering towards the tree on the bank, collapses onto one of it's branches, breathing shallowly before she starts to slide, falls off of it into the still water with a splash, coughs, unmoving, eyes completely black, watching the wheels turn then slow, engine spluttering
"Shade."
Faint voice reaching her ears, her gaze flicks up slowly towards her right, curls in on herself as wave after wave hits her, buries her face halfway in the water, biting back a cry, shaking "Just go away... Go away.." she whispers to herself, hands wrapped around her stomach

"Shade," he repeated, running to the water's edge, and hesitating a moment, started his way. He went far enough to grab Shade's arm, pulling her towards him and towards the bank. "I'm not going anywhere." He tripped and fell back, though he was in shallow water, pulling her towards him and holding her close. "Let me help."

"Go away..." Shade whispers, barely audible, jerks weakly when grabbed, veins in her face black, skin pale "Zlo, let go!" she hisses quietly, voice cracking with pain, trapped against his chest "Let go! Or I'll end up-" words failing her, she jerks again, desperate "Please!"

Zlo kept his hold, resting his cheek on her head. "No." His voice was almost low enough to be more of a rumble from his chest. He didn't know what else to do, nothing else but hold on.

"Don-" Shade starts to reply in response to his words before stiffening when he leans in, goes to pull back when her eyes turn a darker shade of black, gaze going vacant then fiery, shifts so she's pinning him at the waist, irises slowly turning green as she sucks a bit of his soul out, reverting to how she was when she first emerged as a succubus showing

Zoo took a breath, hissing slightly as she pinned him down and he used an elbow to keep himself up, though a slight smirk touched his lips. His other hand found its way to her hair, fingers tangling themselves.
After a few moments, and long enough for her, he pulled back before he forgot to, panting slightly and looked at her, eyes flashing brightly.
"Now, was that so hard?" He rumbled, a grinbevident in his voice.
