Gaze wavering when pulled into him, Eva's breath hisses in sharply at his words, lip trembling some before she grits her teeth and buries her face in his shirt, hands gripping at the back of it tightly "It was just a nightmare... That's all.." she whispers, trying to reassure both him and herself

Quiet a moment, Elias kisses the top her her head gently. "Nothing will hurt you, not while I'm here." A hand moves and rubs away the pain in his chest, eyes trained on thin air a moment.

"Promise?... Are you okay?..."
"Promise." At the second remark, he gives an uncertain nod. "I'll live. There's just..." He struggles to find the words. "There's just something off somewhere. I don't know if it's my...father, or Riad." Elias couldn't keep the underlying anger towards his family completely from his voice, and at the realization he purses his lips, trying to accept the fact that it was time that he confront them and the past.

"No, if something was wrong they'd come tell me," he answers quickly, then closes his eyes as he remembers the conversation he had with Nova. They open again and he sighs. "Though, I guess I should," he mumbles, looking at the ground.

Carefully he leads her to the couch and sits her down, a hand brushing the hair from her face as he studies her closely, and seeing her eyes change he frowns a little. "Unwell how?" he asks gently.

"I feel lightheaded.." Eva whispers, eyes closing briefly at the brush of his hand before she looks at him, face still pale as she smiles slightly "You called me Eva, not Sparrow.."

"I feel lightheaded.. You called me Eva, not Sparrow.."
He musters a small smile. "I still think Sparrow suits you more." Taking her hand, he traces his thumb over her knuckles. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He starts as he hears the ruffling of feathers and looks at the window he left open some days before, watching a raven that had landed on the windowsill tilt its head quizzically as them.

Elias opens his mouth to speak, and seeing her fall forward he grasps her arms quickly, setting her back against the back of the couch, searching her face. "Sparrow?" His head snaps back around to the raven, his demonic instincts rising and he stands abruptly and takes a step forward, though the raven lets out a squall of warning. Elias stops, staring at the raven with a sharp gaze as he hisses, "What are you doing here."

"Sparrow? What are you doing here."
Pupils dilated as she looks at him, Eva's face pales when her sight starts to blur, closing her eyes to try and get her bearings, breath hissing out as pain shoots through her head flying to it. Cracking an eye open, she breathes in and out shallowly, reaching out to grab Elias when he hisses at the crow, feeling protective over it for some reason "Don't.."
