He reached over and grasped her hand, studying before admitting, "I do want to try. But only if you're all right with it." Elias paused. "I just... It's all hard to understand, to take in. But if there's a chance mom could be brought back, it's one I couldn't entirely pass up.."

He nodded, leaning forward and kissing her forehead lightly. "I know." He ran a hand through his hair, trying to decide what they needed to get while he was out at the store. "Do you still want to go with me to pick up some things?"

The corner of his mouth tilted up in a small smile. "All right. We'll leave in a few minutes then." He started searching the kitchen, finding a note pad and pen and began marking down things he needed to pick up, then asked, "Is there anything specific that you want to pick up?"

Elias sleeps on the couch, arms spread over the back of it and head tilted back. His expression is relaxed and breathing even. He couldn't fall asleep in the bedroom-- he felt suffocated. It wasn't Eva, though. It was more so his thoughts than anything.
