Time Skip! Noon the following day
Elias stirred awake earlier that morning, looking at Eva as she slept. He didn't move for quiet some time, but after a while, he stomach screamed at him to get up. So slowly, carefully, he got out of bed and went for the shower, examining his hair for the first time, and seeing it longer than he liked, trimmed it himself for the first time in ages. Once he groomed and took a shower, he stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around his wait, the top of his tail peeking through and the scars on his back where his wings hid vivid. Cheeks reddening slightly, she bites her lip before her gaze rakes over his scars, stands silently, sneaks up behind him, hands reaching out towards his back where they lay

From the drawers he pulls out a white button up and a pair of jeans, stopping when he feels the air move behind him, though he doesn't turned around. Instead, he closed the drawer and opened another, pulling out a tank top to wear under his shirt.

"Not now, no," he shook his head, facing her. "It's like cutting teeth. Though they come after that. They work their way through, but once they make it through and we learn how to use them, the skin heals and becomes like a pocket that they hide under. Sometimes you can see them underneath, and if we move them inside the pocket, it looks downright weird," he gave a small laugh at the memory. "I chased Mom around all the time and would do that. It creeped her out."

His hand came up and touched the stone, and his features softened. "She was a bright light in a relatively darkened world. She loved both Riad and me, accepting him as her own. Of course, it took time before he opened up to her, but it all worked out. She was fun loving, too, always took Riad and me out to the circus every time it came around." He walked over to the bed, slipping on his jeans while keeping the towel around his waist, though any other time he wouldn't have cared. "She cared about everyone, too and helped where she could." he looked at her, laying the towel aside and picked up his tank. "She helped your mom, but what I understood, and when we thought she was gone, she had come back to help someone else in need."

Watching him as he speaks, she glances away when he starts to change out of pure respect, ears turning red, doesn't look at him until he's mostly dressed "She sounds like an amazing woman." she murmurs quietly, guilt flashing across her face, small timid smile "I know she watched over me. But I wish I had actually met her in person.. For your sake, and mine.."
