Noticing her ears redden he adverted his gaze slowly, looking around as they walked. Mulling over questions to ask her to make it less awkward he turned when she had spoken.
"So, uhm, I'm Rune."
"Rune.." he tested the word out himself. "Kale. Its a pleasure. Pretty name." he smiled at her before pulling his scarf tighter to keep the wind out.

Runic smiled gently as she walked up the path to her house, stepping up to the door before turning around and facing Kale. "Would you like to stay for tea, and maybe a meal? Or anything?" It was the first time she had invited anyone in, but seeing as he had walked with her home, it was the most she could do for him.

Kale followed her, stepping back as she turned around. He didn't realize how close he had gotten to her. "Tea sounds good." He stepped another step back as his stomach grumbled. His face immediately reddened and he looked down, eyes filling with mixed emotions.

She laughed gently at his stomach growling before unlocking the door and stepping inside, flicking on the light. The house was small but homey, its decor and design a mixture of the earth and the sea, coming together in a nice (for lack of better words) indie style.
"What kind of tea would you like?" Rune stepped over to the kitchen area and pulled out a tea kettle, filling it with water.

His head tilted at her laugh and he smiled softly at the sound.Kale steps in after her and surveys her house. The decor was much like the style of clothing she wore.
"What kind of tea would you like?"
He looked at her then before looking away. In truth he had only accepted the offer because it was given. He himself had never had tea, at least not in years. "Whatever you think is best at this hour." Replies quietly.

Kale met her gaze but looked away a moment later. He wasn't sure why though, he had nothing to hide. Okay not a whole lot anyway. He just didn't want to impose on her, he hadn't come here to eat her out of her home. No matter how hungry he was. No he would get something later.
"For energy,If you're going to return home, I don't want you to fall asleep on the way. I'd feel awful. It makes a good stimulant."
"Oh I see." He gives a short chuckle. "That's nice of you but i'll be fine. Truly- I could use the sleep." He met her gaze with soft but guarded eyes. "I promise not to stay too long." In truth he wasn't bothered by staying, but he wouldn't misuse the welcome.
