"Well..." Eva murmurs, cheeks reddening as she looks away "I know you probably got yours years before you met me, but I feel like it is meant to represent me in a way.. So I want to get one to represent you.."

He ponders a moment, debating on telling her or not. "You know, I actually got this one after I had gotten my fill of drugs," he starts bluntly. "Back when Lucifer first pulled me under. I kept seeing ravens in my dreams, and after a while, they started to terrify me. I hated them. But... After having one save my life once, I decided I needed to overcome my fear, to fight back. And that's where it came from." He turns just a little, looking at his tattoo and touched the scripture. "It says there is no illusion greater than fear. Something the raven told me."

He smiles and watches her doze, though as he feels a presence behind him it fades a little.
"A demon and a Valkyrie," Kos murmurs, leaning against the back of the couch with his hands in his pockets. "Who would've thought it could work? Especially with someone like you."
Elias's jaw ticks a little, though he keeps his voice quiet. "It was you, wasn't it?"
"What, back then?" he remarks, then shrugs. "Seems like a stupid question, considering you have a totem on your side. What made you do that anyway?"
"My way of conquering fear."
"Guess it's better than drugs, yeah?" Seeing Elias's hair bristle, Kos snorts. "Chill, I meant no offense."
Elias turns his head a little to look at him. "Then maybe you should stop sounding like you're pissed at the world and taking it out on someone, Crow."
"Can't change what's been burnt, demon," he murmurs. Kos pushes himself off the couch. "So what happened here?"
He lays his head back down. "I don't know."
"This where the wraiths showed up?"
"You know about that?"
Another snort is given. "It's my job to know."
"You know you'll you have to tell me why you're here, and what you know about her, right?"
Kos looks at him, crimson eyes a little sharp. "You'll learn whatever I do as we go. We're in the same boat."
Elias snorts quietly and closes his eyes, resting by Eva. Though he never does fall asleep.
[time skip, maybe an hour or two]
Kos perches on a counter top, twisting a feather in his hand, his eyes moving to Elias and Eva, as Elias shifts just a little. Neither of them talked since their conversation earlier, and neither show any want to.
