Demons Demons are versatile in build. They can range from shapeshifting buggers to transforming demi-gods (not really gods). The list of types of demons is so broad, it's extremely hard to really give a thorough explanation of them. However, I can offer a few types.
Elemental Demons Elemental demons are demons who have control over certain elements. Some can control up to six, but most have control over one to three. It all depends on their bloodlines. They do have alternate forms aside from their human form (if they so choose), and these forms often are modeled after the elements the demon controls.
Your Average Joe These are the demon that just are demons-- living for thousands of years, super strength, an alternate form, but aren't entirely the strongest. They are able to use simple magic abilities and spells.
Shifters These demons are similar to your average Joe, but they are able to shapeshift into various forms.
Demis Demis are the ones that possess strength and the ability to perform all sorts of magic and vary greatly. They are stronger than your average Joes and are often times larger, but they are not without their weaknesses.
Elementals and Elementalists Elementals are beings that are comprised of nothing but the elements they control. Many are made of of one, seldom two elements, and even though they have the ability to hold a solid form, that form tends to still retain aspects of their element.
Elementalists, unlike elementsls, are humans with the ability to control the elements. The maximum one can control is four, but most control one or two.

Illusion Manipulators Also known as Hallucikinesis or Mirage Generation, it allows its users to create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Some users can create complex and detailed worlds, others may be able to only alter the way they or the target are perceived.
Here are a few of the variations: Self Perception - the ability to alter their own perception of reality. Selective Illusions - the ability to induce illusions onto specific targets without affecting the others. Mirage Inducing - version of Illusion in which the user can generate illusions which last, and are entirely real, as long as the targets do not know that they are illusions. One with this ability could cause any type of illusion they desire, but the second that someone calls out “It’s not real!”, shakes subjects out of their deluded state or the subjects see the illusionist working his power, then the illusions will wear off, entirely (or until the user can go unnoticed to use his ability again).
If you want to get really specific they may also be labeled as a Distorter.
Distorter-A magic user who specializes in (or practices only) manipulating reality, and/or creating physical phenomena.
