He stiffened before he stepped backwards, ready to break off into a run. He wasn't about to get into a fight he had no part with. Hopefully he would get away before the other one showed up. Making up his mind he turned and disappeared in the other direction. It appeared that he was fleeing, and he was- but not entirely.
Leia watched him out the corner of her eye and she flinched. She was glad that he had done what she said but it hurt her all the same. Please just get away safely. She turned to Spades when he lunged forward, a hand coming up to stop him. Hearing the girls voice however, the arm stopped moving and she just watched with wide eyes.

She didn't even flinch as the other hand reached to grab her neck, taking a step back as he fell to his knees and kept the illusion up. She opened her mouth to say more, but she stopped short as she seemed to snap out of a trance, eyes widening as she took a few more stumbling steps away.
"W-what--" she whispered, flinching with a gasp before collapsing, hands grasping her head as she curled a little.

"Madame Hearts," someone called, catching Priya's attention, who stopped and looked back at the river.
"What."
"Mr. Spades. He fell..." He never got the chance to finish as Priya shoved past him, running to the water's edge, seeing Spades kneeling before the girl, then the girl stumbling and falling herself. "That wench! No One is allowed to torture him but me," she growled, running to the water's edge and jumped, a piece of ice forming underneath her feet and she glided across the water on it.
Making it, she stepped onto the bank as a couple of men followed behind, gaze sharp towards Alyse. "I hope it's enough to make your little head roll, girl," she snapped, and Alyse flinched. Priya walked over towards Spades, flicking her wrist. "Detain them."
Alyse's eyes snapped open and she scrambled to her feet quickly with a grasp, grabbing Leia's arm and pulled her with, unconsciously creating the illusion of a wall between them and the gangs, which forced Spade's illusion to fade as they ran.

Leia fell forward as she was pulled, but her feet automatically found a rhythm to run on. "Wait! I have a friend back there." eyes wide she looked back, searching for any sign of him. She hoped that he got away. After a few moments though an engine could be heard, nearing them quickly. Moments later a snowmobile came up beside them.
"Get on!" Kasper slowed it down as much as he could, holding a hand out to them while the other one steered. His eyes flicked back and forth between the two and the path.
Leia smiled in relief before she pushed the girl towards him, but not hard enough to make her stumble. "Up you go dear."

Hearing Priya's voice, his teeth gnash together, tries to break free of the illusion, gasping when it falls apart on it's own, looks up just in time to see both Leia and the girl vanish "Hearts, she's getting away." he mutters, unsteady as he tries to stand, grasps his head with a cringe

Kasper pushed the pedal once they both were on the vehicle. He trained his eyes forward, deciding which path to take.
Leia hopped on after the girl, sitting down immediately. Seeing the girl slump she pulled the younger woman against herself, eyes searching her face. "Are you alright?"
