"I'all call you what I wish. After all, you are his prodigy, you have his powers."
Zlo hissed, going to make another sharp remark, but Dozorce stopped him. He worked his jaw, composing himself, then asked, "How can you bring her back?"

Zlo's jaw ticked as he considered the thought. "Look. You don't have to," he murmured, looking down. "I'm sure demons and your kind haven't had the best of relations. And I'm sure this is the last thing you want to do for one." He shook his head, running a hand through his hair with a sharp and short laugh. "Maybe I've become too human, but I don't want anyone else to pay for my own mistakes." He took a breath, meeting his gaze. "I just want her to be able to live without being burdened by me any longer. She's suffered enough, but she doesn't deserve this death."

Zlo's gaze wavered and he prepared himself to argue otherwise.
"Very well. I'll bring her back, for the new Lucifer. And as a gift to celebrate this, I'll make the price for it little. Deal?"
His jaw ticked a moment, but now, he was willing to sacrifice anything for his daughter to live and Shade to not have to pay the price for his mistakes. "Name the price."
Dozorce looked at Zlo, gaze studying.

"No," came Zlo's reply almost immediately. "Their souls have been tortured and bargained with enough." His gaze was sharp, fire meeting water. He gauged carefully. "But I'll be willing to give you a taste of mine, unless you don't roll that way." He arched an eyebrow, his old demeanor slipping through as a cover. Or was it a piece of Lucifer's?

His pale eyes shot to the demon, but he continued speaking, "--as payment to bring her back. Untouched, whole. And if you require anything more, we'll discuss it."
"Are you mad?" the demon snarled at him.
"Being of some use," he murmured, looking back at Graz. "There are bigger plans than you becoming the next king at stake."
Confusion crossed Zlo's gaze as he frowned and fell silent.

Watching the two with interest, Graz smirks a little, eyes flicking between the two when they look towards him "That's all fine and dandy, but why would I want part of your soul?" he murmurs to Riad before he stills, sighing "Periwinkle"
