TWO YEAR TS
Riad stands outside on the sidewalk by the bar, arms crossed and face rather relaxed for the first time in a while. In his hand he opens and closes a zippo lighter, a habit he picked up over the last couple of years to keep his mind off the constant screams he hears, the ones inherited from Lucifer. As he hears the school bus tires squeak to a stop he opens his eyes and straightens, snapping the lighter shut with a smile. |

"Still hearing them, huh?" Carter murmurs, eyes distant as he watches Riad and the bus from afar, keeping his distance for the moment, standing off to the side of the bar near the alley

"Still hearing them, huh?"
Hearing the remark Riad glances back with a thin, uncertain smile. Though he had kept it reined in, the evidence was still there in an eye where crimson invaded lavender, creating flecks and patches. However, he doesn't remark as he turns towards Angel, smiling and he picks her up.
"I'm home!"
"How was school today?" he laughs, nodding at the bus driver and starts towards the Tavern door.

"Fine, Mrs. Moran showed us to make paper roses!" She held two up to show him.

Gaze wavering, Carter watches them a moment longer before his eyes flash and he disappears, transporting himself to the far corner of the interior of the bar, sighing as he takes a seat on the bench

He laughs a little as he steps through the doors and sets Angel down, looking at the roses. "Those look absolutely beautiful. You'll have to show us sometime when we have the supplies."
