He wanders where he can, be he finds no one that he could possibly pull, until he finds on still breathing. However, seeing their condition, he knows they wouldn't survive, and with a stroke of sympathy he summons his sword, pressing his forehead to it. "I'm sorry," he murmurs to them, "But I won't allow you to suffer any longer." He clenches his jaw with a sigh and drives his blade through their chest, flinching a little as he let the blade dissipate into the smoke.

Grasping the mans pant leg weakly when he walks over to him, he wheezes in and out, trying to speak, gasping for air. Stiffening when the blade sinks into his chest, he coughs up a mouthful of blood before his vision goes, light in his eyes fading as his free arm starts to fall where it had risen, pocket watch clattering across the floor, previously clutched in his hand

Seeing the flash of metal, Rourke's gaze follows it, and he feels a tug. He quickly moves and darts across the way, picking it up, though he has to place it on his shirt over one of his hands because of the heat. He quickly turns and hurries out, darting outside and turning to look at the building, his expression solemn. Walking back to the woman, he kneels down and pulls the watch from the fabric, the metal still warm but not too hot now, and he holds it out to her in silence.

Eyes flicking up to the man upon his return, Ammiras raises her good arm to take the watch from him, tears filling her gaze as she clutches it tightly, holding it to her chest as she cries "Abbán.." inhaling shakily, she presses her hand to her eyes "Help me.."

He moves forward to lift her, though pauses, arms halting in mid air as he looks at her. "May I?"

He readjusts his coat around her shoulders and lifts her up bridal style, though he isn't able to find much to say as he walks over to the gate, reaching out and opening it with a shoulder, and stoops to pick up his case, careful to not jar or drop Ammiras. "I'll get you patched up," he says quietly as he started walking again the way he was originally going before the blast.

Crying out when lifted and her leg shifts, she turns and buries her face in his shirt to try and hide her face, unable to look at what remains of her home

Running along the street until he gets to the fence outside where the manor used to lay, Dumond starts whining as he looks at the blackened grass and what little of the structure remains, police tape around the perimeter

Riad slows to a stop near him, eyes widening at the sight of the blackened corpse of a home, and immediately dread fills him. He looks around, then scales the fence, going to investigate.

He looks around again, moving slowly through the yard. "What happened...?" he moves through the door, stepping over the debris. His nose twitched and he covers it, smelling the remnants of burnt corpses. "....that's...." His jaw ticks and slowly moves forward.

Whining softly, Dumond goes to each body, sniffing it before his ears suddenly raise and he takes off back towards the main gate with a bark
Reaching her home about ten minutes later, Ammiras leans against the bars of her fence with a gasp, breaths shallow as she fights not to topple over, words leaving her mouth in a curse when Dumond suddenly jumps on her

Hearing the commotion Riad whirls as he sees Dumond run back, and he hesitates a moment. Then, slowly he doubles back, stepping out of the door with a heavy expression, but relief floods him as he sees Ammiras. "You're alive," he breathes, stepping away from the skeleton.
