His tail returned to normal, watching a moment before it lashed out and caught Carter, grounding him. "What's happened?" he asked, watching and remaining wary of the wings a moment, trying to figure it out in his head. "What did you do?"

Gasping, he tries to jerk away instinctively before stilling, falling to his knees with a groan, pain filling his eyes, breaths labored, wings flapping randomly, new "There's so much pain... So much agony.." he whispers, voice breaking "Kill me, please..."

Riad grew conflicted, his tail loosening his hold. What could he do? Not kill him, but him to suffer. Kill him, and causing the suffering in bringing him back again. His fists clenched as his jaw ticked. He couldn't bring himself to do either. How could he fix this?

Reaching it, he jumps over the surface of it, blue eyes clouded as he reaches for a bottle then tips it back past his lips, drinking the whole thing within seconds before stretching his hand out again for another

Riad's head snaps up from where he is cleaning up from last night's customers as someone storms in. He frowns at the sudden wave of power radiating, and he recognizes the mess of a man to be Zlo. "Zlo? What are you doing here? Where's Angel?"
"Where is he," he growled lowly, eyes vivid crimson.
"Who?" he straightens and sets the glass he was cleaning down.
