Feeling the mass under his tail move, he stirred, eyes opening a little, the purple bright in the dark as he eyed him. "Leaving so soon?" he murmured, tip of his tail swaying like a content feline. However, inside it was a different story.

Riad's eyes flashed with something unrecognizable as he vanished, though the expression faded as he stared at the place he once stood. After a few moments he turned over onto his back, a hand resting over his head as his eyes stared at the ceiling, mulling over his thoughts before driving them out and turned his mind to silence, rolling to his opposite side, tail moving and curling around his leg loosely.

Riad hadn't moved from where he rolled earlier, eyes closed and body for the most part motionless. However, from somewhere in his sleep he heard the door to the bar open, eyes opening and his head turning to gaze sidelong towards the door, eyes still fairly vivid. He listened, hearing the gasping, then slowly sat up as he heard the table break and something fall. He stood and pulled on his jeans, leaving the belt undone, expression turning to one of annoyance at being roused from his sleep (that he had no intention of waking up from yet).
He stalked over to the door, tail still out and swaying, and jerked the door open. However, his tail stilled and he grew rigid as his eyes fell on Carter, expression surprised, though it quickly turned impassive minus his lowered brows. "Carter?"

His face slipped just a little, expression growing confused and worried the slightest. "Why?" Seeing the wings, his tail sharpened a little, though more for defense than anything. "What's wrong?"
