She shakes her head at him again, her arms wrapping around his neck and she leans in close, eyes sly. "And I somehow feel in love with a rather defensive man who threatens to throw me into the water nearly anytime I'm around it." She grins and pulls a small ball of water from the river and tosses it towards his back, pulling her arms out of the way as it hits.

Spades murmurs, lips twisting up when she steps closer before he scowls as water hits his back, hissing "Witch." he grumbles, eyes flashing, stepping back as a gust hits her full force, carrying her up into the sky over the water then dropping her as he turns away

She lets out a startled cry eyes widening before she twists like a cat and makes herself a platform from the water, landing roughly on it before she turns, seething. "Asshole!"

Smile fading, Ridge's eyes flash for a moment before they pale, jaw ticks. Sighing, he walks towards her, legs passing through the water, clothes getting wet, water up to his waist when he finally reaches her "What's the matter, Priya?" he asks quietly, hand catching hers

Her eyes still remain adverted. "It's not you," she says quietly, trying to rebuild her walls. "Know that it's not you. I just..." She sees a past she buried flicker across her eyes and her lips purse, and for the first time, she admits it. "I'm afraid."
