"We should," Dozorce murmured, part of him not ready to have part of his soul devoured, but he gave his word. "Behave and do your part," he grumbled towards Zlo, who grumbled in return.
"Watch it, old man. Maybe I'll devour you next." Zlo looked to Graz. "At least it'll be a little enjoyable, since he's at least good looking."
Dozorce snorted and gave a dark smirk, "I don't think it would be a wise decision." Then, holding his hand out towards Peri, "Let's make our trade off."

Zlo smirked a little, a part that wasn't him slipping through. "If you're taking a small piece, might as well make it a little interesting, don't you think?" He held his hand out as though to shake hands, his smirk remaining and his eyes more crimson than gold.

Zlo chuckled and met him half way, pressing his lips to his for a thrill, though somewhere in the back of his mind something clicked, but he didn't jerk away. He started it, he had to finish it.

Zlo pulled away and took a step back, golden eyes returning to normal as he reoriented himself and got his bearings. His gaze shifted from Graz to Zor.
"Uh oh, looks like someone's been found out. Are you all right?"
Dozorce stared at where Peri once sat. His mouth worked a moment, the first time emotion has ever truly shown on his face. "I...I don't know. I don't know what's happened..." His face twisted in confusion as he closed his eyes. "I could've sworn..."

His pale gaze snapped to Graz. "So it was really her. She was changed? When? How?" the questions rolled out without pause. "Was it you who had?"
It finally clicked in Zlo's head. "She was one of their mothers," he murmured.
