"Alright. I'll sleep in your bed then. But only if you do the same. I'm not making you sleep on the couch. Deal?"
Raid stared at him, ears turning ready, his hand halting on the back of his neck. His violet eyes soaked in Carter's expression, cheeks reddening when he realized he was serious. Mouth working a moment, he struggled to find words, "I-- are you sure? I-I mean, if you're comfortable..."
He stopped talking, realizing he couldn't bring himself to admit that deep down he liked the idea, but was trying to refrain.

Frost remained still, studying her as an artist would with their subject. After a while, he shifted positions, sliding to the floor and against the bed to keep his chilled touch at bay, though he didn't move her hand. He looked down at his hands, his skin pale, and he pursed his lips in thought.

Cerria finally fell asleep, head tilted down towards her chest. After a few moments she grasps the top of the blanket and pulls it further up to her ear. The rest of her body curled inward as more time went by.

Riad nodded, tossing back the water before gesturing towards the room. "Of course. You can go ahead, I'll follow behind in a minute. I've got to take care of a few papers for the night."

"You aren't coming?" Carter looks at him, frowning slightly before shrugging just enough to see the movement, waves hand "Alright, suit yourself. Though, the paperwork could wait." he murmurs, turning and heading into the room. Sitting on the bed, he slips out of his jacket and shoes then lays down on his side, facing the center, blue eyes hazy before he passes out, exhausted

"You aren't coming? Alright, suit yourself. Though, the paperwork could wait."
Riad gave a reassuring smile. "Just five minutes." He watched as he went to lay down, smile fading slightly. Could he really do this? He wasn't sure. His tail relaxed slightly in effort to relax himself as he poured another glass of water, chugging it.
Once finished, he walked to the bed room, pausing a moment to study Carter. He was equal parts excited and uncertain, comforted and uncomfortable. The man he had his eyes on for some time was in his room, on his bed, asleep. Of course, he wanted to remain respectful of him, but he still wondered how it would ever work if something bloomed.
Then again, Carter had been drunk.
He turned and went to the closet, taking off his shirt aandplaced it into the basket. Then he finally worked his way to the bed, feeling a little guilty that he lied about the papers. But instead of laying down, he sat up, back against the headboard, an arm behind his head as he studied the wall. Riad wasn't one for sleep, though he was a little weary.
The most he wanted to do was let Carter rest, though inside he worried that he wouldn't remember tonight.
Maybe that's why Riad didn't want to sleep-- to keep the memory vivid. His cheeks grew slightly rosy and he pursed his lips.

Riad showered, the water hot. He only stood under the water, savoring the feeling before stepping out and turning it off. His tail was relaxed and uncooked, and unconsciously he gave it a shake, shaking the water from the black fur tipping it. Reaching for the towel, he wiped his face and wrapped it around him, curling his tail around hisnthigh and out of sight.

Sitting up, Carter yawns softly before frowning softly as he looks around, trying to recall what happened last night. Remembering a face, and a kiss, his cheeks turning flaming red a second, small sigh "Hey." he calls hesitantly "Is anyone here?"

Hearing the voice she looked down from where she was sitting, eyes narrowing. Growling to herself, at herself she glared at him, an eyebrow raised. He did not just ask that question. Feeling a small breeze she glanced down, stilling. Looking back up a grin spread across her face. "I don't know Aa-bel. "She made sure to pronounce each syllable, same way she always did when she was pissed at a man. She grabbed the nearest hard thing which happened to be the tv remote, and chucked it at his head. She huffed when it successfully hit him smack dab in the middle of his forehead.

Riad's ears perched as he heard a voice, face reddening slightly as he realized he had forgotten to grab his clothes. Taking a breath, his moved the towel so the top of his tail was hidden, then moved out of the bathroom, the other towel around his neck. "Sorry, I expected you to sleep longer," he said quietly, stepping over to the closet. "You had drank so much."

Eyes flicking to the bathroom when he hears footsteps, his eyes widen when he sees the man before he smiles lightly to himself, looking down at the sheets "So it wasn't a dream. I really did kiss you." he murmurs as he stands and stretches, yawning "Well. Sorry about that, I guess." he states quietly, blue irises flicking up to him, ears turning red when it finally dawns on him that Riad is half naked

"Shut up!" Cerria moved forward swiftly. She grabbed a pillow on the way and shoved it in his face as she hopped off the bed. Eyes only trained on one spot she lurched towards the bathroom. "Pervert!" she shouted as she slammed the door behind her.

"So it wasn't a dream. I really did kiss you. Well. Sorry about that, I guess."
Riad smiles, though the his rosy undertone shows through his cheeks. "Nothing to be sorry about," he said quietly, walking over to the closet to grab himself some clothes. "Did you sleep okay?"
He pulled out a gray button up and a pair of jeans, surveying both before walking back towards the bathroom. "If you need a change of clothes, there's extras in the closet. I'm just not sure if they'll fit."
