Smiling halfway, Shade tips the bottle back past her lips, chugging it before she exhales and heads for the exit, waving her hand nonchalantly "See you around, Zlo." she murmurs, hand reaching for the knob

Zlo looked towards her, smile faltering just a little until the sound of footsteps caught his attention and he looked towards them, starting when seeing a boy with white hair and a girl, then Riad in front of them. "Riad? Who's--"
"My brother," he started, guarded as he forced a smile. "It's getting late, don't you think?"
Zlo, catching his hidden meaning, frowned a little and sighed, moving the now empty plates from the bar. "I was just going to take Angel home." He moved from behind the bar then picked her up. "C'mon princess, let's stop by the store and get you a welcome home present, yeah?" His eyes drifted to Elias.
Elias wrapped his arm around Eva, guarding her as he looked back at Zlo, who then gave a nod of respect and started out.

Stilling at the sound of footsteps and voices, Shade turns slowly, eyes raking over the others, head tilting, nods towards the girl before her eyes flash green when a breeze hits her, covers her mouth and nose with a cough, gaze flicking to Riad's brother "You brought a human here?" she hisses, voice muffled by her fingers, teeth gritted, free hand gripping the bottle so tight it busts and slices a few fingers, turns her attention back to Riad, exhaling at the distracting pain, arms dropping, blood dripping onto the floor "He's in your room, and not doing well."
Eyes widening at the sight of the everyone, Eva almost doesn't notice the man, nods at him in return, tenses at the woman's outburst, stepping behind Elias, gripping his sleeve tightly when her hand starts bleeding "Miss, I... I'm sorry.."

"You brought a human here?"
Elias tensed as the glass shattered, arm reaching back and around Eva as his muscles coiled to spring. "Got a problem with that?" he growled lowly.
"Elias, enough," Riad murmured, and his brother glared his direction, hardly relaxing.
"He's in your room, and not doing well."
He frowned and took a deep breath. "I'll go talk to him." He started forward, continuing as he stepped to the door. "Behave. I want no one fighting in my bar." His voice was low and held a dangerous edge as he opened the door, hesitating, then stepped inside. "Carter?"
"Miss, I... I'm sorry.."
Elias glared at Shade, gaze dangerous. "You're okay, Sparrow," he murmured.

Zlo stepped out, smiling at her. "I can get you a toy pony. Maybe sometime soon, if I can get more room, I'll get you a real pony." He looked back for a brief moment, worried about the others. But he turned forward, knowing that if anything happened, he would be called. Or so he hoped.

"Yay!" Her face lit up and she hugged him tightly, yelling in glee. She stopped a moment before staring at him. After a second she reached up and smacked both of his cheeks as hard as she could, which for her size didn't mean much. "It's ok Daddy. Stop worrying so much."

Deathly still, he watches as the door swings open, all the lights off. Waiting until he spots a foot coming through the door, he grits his teeth and springs up in a flash, hand tightening around Riad's throat, irises blue with brown at the center, face pale, eyes dilated

"No, I have a problem with her smell, not her." Shade mutters, sighing when Riad speaks

Riad jerked and swore, widened violet eyes boring into his blue, a hand flying and grasping his wrist. His muscles twitched to fight back; however, he fought the nerve and clenched his teeth, speaking through them, voice terse. "Carter, it's me...!"
"Just stay away from me, yea?"
"I... Okay. Do you need a towel or something?..."
Elias watched the two of them, ears catching the commotion from Riad's office and he stiffened, though made no move forward.

Staring at him, Carter's grip starts to tighten before his eyes widen, releases him, quickly stepping back and hitting the wall with a gasp, hand clutching his face "I have to go.."
"I... Okay. Do you need a towel or something?..."
"No, I'm going to let it bleed so I don't eat you." Shade mutters, sighing, tenses when she hears a noise but doesn't move
Face paling, she steps further behind Elias before jumping at Riad's yell, steps towards the room

Riad stumbled back and leaned against the door frame, gasping a moment before stepping inside and closing the door, leaning against it. Once he felt clear-headed, he spoke. "You can't, not yet. If Rima is acting out, tell her she needs to stand down or I won't bring Elias in." He slipped down to the floor, looking at Carter. "We've got to fix this, but I have to have everyone's cooperation or it's not going to carry through."
When Eva took a step forward, Elias's hand lashed out and caught her wrist, gently pulling her back. His voice was low as his gaze was trained on the door, straining to hear."No, Sparrow. Don't go anywhere near that door."

He gave a thin smile. "It'll take more than that to really hurt me," he breathed. "You just gave me a scare."
"She's backing down, for now.."
There was a pause as Riad watched him a moment. "I'll get him, but I have two conditions for her. I don't want anyone ripping out one another's throats, as we're going to talk this out like civil beings. And second, if I may ask, I would like to know what she has planned for my brother. He and I may not be on the best of terms, but he's my younger brother, and I will do what I must to protect him."

"That's reassuring," Riad murmured, straightening with a sigh. "Then wait here. I'll go get him." He turned to the door and stepped out.
"Okay...But you're good, aren't you?... Why can't he be?"
Elias's jaw clenched. "It's different. Mom's put herself into an object, using it as a vessel. With him, the soul is residing in his body with his soul."
Seeing Riad step out he left the matter alone, looking at his brother, who looked back at him and nodded. "Time to chat."
"Stay here," he told Eva and followed Riad inside the room, looking towards Carter. "So this is the guy."
