Zlo's eyes closed as she walked out, and long after the door closed, he murmured, "Equal parts fear, uncertainty, and the humanity that's left inside.." His gaze opened and stared at the floor, looking at his hand. "Imagine killing the being that created you." His fist closed and his gaze sharpened, jaw ticking again. Why didn't he kill him?
